Deep down but also at the tip of our tongues! A greater knowing then what’s at the surface. This knowing has a name, it is called intuition. Bringing immense peace and power, following it provides truth. A perfect way to honor our inner guide is to be in touch with our mind, bodies, and souls. It takes awareness of oneself to step into this attunement! With patience and practice, we begin to see that living by our inner voice is our birthright.

Intuition vs Mind
How do we know if its our intuition or our sometimes-chaotic mind? A great tip I once learned is that we can tell the difference between our souls speaking to us versus our mind because the soul will feel gentle and calm, and the mind will be a bit scrambled. With this knowledge alone we can begin to decipher between noise and truth. This is a very rewarding process, although sometimes we want to resist what our souls our saying, that is okay. We don’t have to be ready all the time.
Foundations
Intuition is our foundation. It is one of the best natural gifts we all have the strength to harness! Beautiful realizations come about when we strengthen our intuition like a muscle. The more we listen, the more we will know. Even if there is no action right away, when we give our intuition a chance, we are essentially giving ourselves a chance.
Every moment is an opportunity
To follow our gut it to live in our truth. Living in our truth is what we are meant to do as humans. Every moment is an opportunity! How can we improve our awareness today? How can I live for myself while still benefitting others? The answer is by following our intuition. Life will start to fall in place during trial and error. Devotion to learning oneself will bring freedom.
Say No
Saying no can be a challenge sometimes especially when we tend to people please sometimes. We are so wired to put other peoples needs before our own that standing one’s ground can feel somewhat foreign. Boundaries are crucial and an act of self love!
Intuition can be used in all facets of life. Intuitive eating, exercising, sleeping, dancing, rest, and social activity. If we live by our inner guide than we will always be authentic to ourselves. This doesn’t guarantee joy and happiness. Life is not going to be abundant joy 24/7, striving for that may be a tiring challenge. Embracing the shifts of balancing light and dark is where the true beauty lays. Being content in the mundane give’s life so much value. Resisting feelings is when suffering seems to concur. Intuitively knowing that we can still be positive when we are at our lowest is a beautiful taste of hope.
